My daughter Sarah got married on December 16th 2012 at the Milestone and I cannot be happier. Lauren and her staff made this day very special for the whole family. Lauren was always available and any last minute changes were very easy to make.

The venue was absolutely beautiful and was designed in every detail to make weddings flow flawlessly from the bridal and family rooms downstairs to the grooms room upstairs.

The food and catering was awesome. Could not have asked for better food. The crab cakes were to die for.

For any couple getting married I would highly recommend the Milestone. I am so glad Sarah chose the Milestone to get married in.

If you’re considering The Milestone, I would say that you should look no further. The price is amazing and everything that comes with the venue is SO WORTH IT!!! All of our guests were so complimentary. The food was amazing, the venue was beautiful and clean, the staff were over the top with their service. I felt like royalty! They brought us snacks during the day, along with hot towels to help relax (talk about being pampered). Because we had met with Valarie before, everything was already finished. No last minute, “What about this? Should we put this here? How about moving these and adding this?” The vendors they suggested were all top notch (and you cannot get a better deal on a cake – and our wedding cake was the best cake I have ever had! I cannot wait until our one year anniversary to eat that topper!) Valarie and her team are extremely detailed and organized (so you don’t have to be!!) It would make sense that someone would build a place like The Milestone, but unfortunately you just don’t see wedding venues like this one.

When I was looking for a venue I remember making an ideal “perfect” wedding venue list. NO JOKE, they had it all!!! Hard wood floors, beautiful chandeliers, bay windows, A BRIDAL SUITE that you can stay in alllll day, a grandparents room (so your grandparents aren’t wandering the halls or coming in and out of the suite), grooms lounge, coat closet, and GORGEOUS chapel and reception hall. On top of it all, the venue was SO CLEAN. Not only is the venue GORGEOUS in pictures, but it’s even more beautiful in person. Everything from their decorations to the paint on the walls was clean and looking new!

If you’re looking for a place that you can trust and feel comfortable with, The Milestone is your place. If you’re looking for a place that can help make your dream wedding into a reality, The Milestone is your place. If you’re looking for a place that will make wedding planning easy (or if you’re looking for a place that will give you many options), The Milestone is your place. I would get married all over again if I could, just so I could experience our day again!

I cannot say “thank you” enough to everyone at The Milestone. Valarie, Jeremy, and EVERYONE else that helped out, thank you so so so so much. Not only was your service top notch, but you are all such a fun group of people! We had fun spending our day working with you. Valarie, you were so patient and professional. Every detail seemed to fall right into place (at least from what I could tell!!) I cannot tell you thank you enough for everything that you did for me, my husband and our guests. You all made everything so enjoyable and completely stress free. Our wedding day was everything that we could have ever wanted. Everything went SO smoothly, and with the Milestone’s staff there to help I was able to sit back and enjoy my day.

Thank you, again (and again and again)! We are incredibly blessed to have had such a wonderful experience.

My new husband and I were married at the Milestone on Saturday, September 1, 2012.

We only had seven months to plan. Valarie, Lauren and Meghan made my event special with very little effort on my part. They accommodated us on several occasions with visits from myself, parents, the groom and matron of honor so that we knew everything we needed to know to envision what we wanted.

The staff at the Milestone is incredible. When you send photos so the staff can get to know your face and know who you are when you visit, this is not an empty gesture. I never entered the Milestone where staff members did not greet my fiance and I by name, even if we had never met them.

We didn’t really want a formal wedding and were sort of forced that direction by our families so I wasn’t thrilled from the beginning about the whole thing, but I have to say – in spite of wanting to go way more casual in the beginning, I am not sorry we went to the Milestone. Our experience was wonderful, effortless and they made me feel so important with every encounter. My day in the bridal suite with lunch, snacks and drinks provided all day was such a wonderfully relaxing way to spend the day with my bridesmaids. We had a staff member available to us all day to meet our needs, Kim, and she was wonderfully accommodating.

Lauren and Valarie were so great during the reception. They reminded us gently about our timeline, and were very flexible with altering it last minute in order for us to take time to visit with our guests. Even with the alteration, everything was still taken care of and it all got done.

We believe our wedding was as special as it could ever be because of the Milestone. We are grateful our parents forced us to go formal or we would have missed out on a beautiful wedding that was so effortless.

Every single guest we had a chance to speak with went wide-eyed when telling us it was the nicest wedding they had ever been to at such a beautiful location. We are still getting compliments from our guests and I suspect we will continue to receive them.

One other thing of note – the Milestone recommended vendors we selected were top notch and I was so satisfied with the services they provided: Lynn Eason (Divine Inspirations) makeup and Jamie Huffman photography both exceeded my expectations.

I gotta say from a Mother of the Bride, The Milestone was fabulous. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Kelley (bride) fell in love with The Milestone just driving up the driveway. They worked with Kelley and Tommy (groom) through out the year of planning. Every question Kelley asked was answered. On the day of the wedding (September 22, 2012), things went smoothly because of Lauren and Valerie. They were there to help and they did every step of the way. Emily was a great help with answering questions and helping us get the reception set up. My only request was to keep the Diet Coke coming and they did. If we needed something we forgot they tried to find it. They even went so far as to try and find body tape. They didn’t have any but they looked. I highly recommend The Milestone. It was great!!!!!

My husband and I just got married here last weekend and wouldn’t change a single thing! The venue is flawless!

Some benefits to the Milestone compared to other venues: we got to spend the entire day getting ready there with no limited hours, we were served fruit and cheese as we got ready, the grooms room is spacious and hidden, we were had flexability with our set up, we had a coordinator throughout the entire planning process and throughout the entire day with no limit to the number of meetings, the food is amazing, and Valarie made sure everything went as planned. We used Ed as our DJ and he is so flexible and helpful.

Damion and I feel like we were truely valued. We didn’t feel as though we were another wedding to get through. The entire staff is amazing! The whole day of our wedding I was so calm and confident knowing I didn’t have to worry about anything.

The Milestone was the PERFECT place to get married! I planned my entire wedding from out of the country – I cannot imagine a venue working with an out of country bride better than The Milestone! They took care of everything for us – I didn’t have to think through all the details, because our wedding coordinator would contact me as she planned all the details and would just ask me what I wanted for each thing. She was SO personal and sweet and handled everything with grace and ease! I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this place from the first time we looked at it, to picking up items left behind 2 weeks after the wedding!
The food – I have heard rave reviews from friends that this food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!
The details – PERFECT
The coordinator – was amazing!!! She was so calm always and made everything run EXACTLY like we wanted! She was so sweet – we cannot say enough about how great she was!
The day of the wedding the staff took EXTREME care of everyone that was there – groomsmen, bridesmaids, bride, groom, family and friends – it was like we were all at home just hanging out – and being taken care of! It was SO MUCH FUN!
We absolutely loved everything about our wedding, were never stressed in the process of planning, and fully trusted the staff at The Milestone with every detail, and they came through with flying colors!!!!!!!

I don’t know where to begin. It’s so cliche to say that my wedding day was the best day of my life, but it really was, thanks to The Milestone. I kept hearing from everyone, “Expect something to go wrong — it always does on your wedding day.” I can honestly say that not one thing went wrong for us. My girlfriends and I spent the day in the bridal suite and felt like queens. The staff was absolutely wonderful — I thought I’d ruined my dress with red lipstick, and they got the stain out right away! The ceremony was BEAUTIFUL — simple yet elegant just as we wanted. The reception was the most fun I’ve ever had and the food and drinks were to die for! I give The Milestone 10 out of 10 and wish every day could be my wedding day! – Quincy

The Milestone exceeded every expectation I had. The groom’s suite was the perfect fit for all the dudes. We played pool, poker, and of course NBA Jam. I let Quincy choose all of the colors, decoration, etc. and I was pleasantly surprised how perfect everything turned out. The Milestone’s roses were beautiful. The DJ kept the crowd dancing and played music everyone loved. The beer was cold and the quesadillas hit the spot. We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day, thanks to The Milestone. – Luke

This wedding venue is AWESOME! I seriously had the best experience! My wedding was amazing. Valarie did awesome helping be plan the entire thing. They are very responsive, and genuinely care about making sure you have an awesome wedding. The wedding planning was pretty easy (as easy as it can be) thanks to Valarie- she shows great expertise. It’s not a “wedding factory” either. Some venues do 5 weddings a day, this place is not like that at all! I did not feel rushed through photos/other things and I really enjoyed my night. Everything at the Milestone is SUPER organized, which makes it VERY stress free for you! I really cannot say enough nice things about this venue. I looked at LOTS of venues, and I am SO happy I chose this one. Thank you to Valarie & Megan- and all of the staff! You guys are awesome!

I wanted to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation to Valarie and the entire staff at The Milestone for making our daughter’s wedding day such a wonderful experience for everyone involved! Without exception, everyone we have visited with who was at the wedding has told us that they have never been to a wedding that was so beautiful and enjoyable. Everyone was so impressed with the gorgeous venue, but they were also equally impressed at how smoothly everything went and how amazing the food and the service were throughout the evening. When I say everyone – I mean everyone! From our minister, to those in the wedding party, to our guests who ranged in age from 8 to 84!

Our daughter, Rachel, and her new husband, Steve, simply had the time of their life! With Valerie and The Milestone staff watching over every detail of the evening, the bride and groom (and their parents!) were able to simply relax and enjoy every minute of the celebration. Valarie and her staff took such wonderful care of everyone and everything! She took care of one of our bridesmaids who required a gluten-free meal and even sent one of the staff members to the store to get a cable that was needed so that the slide show Rachel and Steve had prepared could be launched from Rachel’s laptop (a Mac).

With our daughter finishing nursing school out of state this past year and me having a full-time job, we were praying that we would be able to find a beautiful venue with a wedding coordinator that would be able to walk us through all the planning in the months leading up to the wedding without anything falling through the cracks. I can’t say enough about how helpful Valarie was throughout the planning process both in our in-person meetings and through answering all the dozens of emails I must have sent her over past few months! We came to trust her advice without hesitation, including her recommendations from The Milestone’s list of preferred vendors. (By the way, every vendor we spoke with expressed how much they loved working with the staff at The Milestone!)

Rachel is our only daughter and the first of her many girlfriends to get married, so we definitely qualified as wedding planning amateurs! I can’t thank The Milestone staff enough for taking such great care of us and for making Rachel and Steve’s wedding day so perfect!

I do not know if I can put into words how amazing the Milestone staff was in helping me have the wedding of my dreams. Valarie is such a wonderful wedding planner from the appointment meetings to the day of, she always made sure everything was running smoothly and that the day was going perfect.

Now my wedding day was a bit different than most. Upon arriving to the Milestone I had come down with a terrible stomach bug. Not knowing that my brother, the scripture reader, and my sister, the matron of honor, were still at home with the same sickness, I arrived to the Milestone with the rest of my bridesmaids. Without giving too much detail, I was beginning to wonder if my wedding was actually going to happen. I immediately told Valarie what was going on and she quickly brought me crackers and ginger ale and was constantly asking if there was anything else that she could do. The staff even went out of their way to go get medicine for me from a convenient store. Everyone was so understanding and constantly checking on me. We did not know the severity of the virus and how contagious it was, but the ring bearer and my other brother, the musician of the wedding, also came down with it. The staff went above and beyond in helping my entire family get through this day. Fortunately the virus only lasted a few hours, so by the ceremony I was fine and everything came together and was amazing. We had a few mishaps with the ring bearer, but the staff was ready with cleaning supplies and trashcans that not one of my guests knew that any of this was going on behind the scenes.

Till this day my husband and I get compliments on how beautiful our wedding was and how much fun the guests had. People always talk about the gorgeous venue and the fun that they had dancing the night away thanks to the amazing DJ. I know that I would not have made it through the day without the amazing help of Valarie and the Milestone staff. Just when I thought that my wedding day might be ruined, they helped me get through it and it turned out better than I ever could have imagined.

Another happy bride from The Milestone
I can’t say enough about how great The Milestone and its staff are. When my husband and I started planning our wedding, one thing that was important to us was to keep the wedding planning stress to a minimum; we got that with the milestone.

I loved that it was a one stop shop that included everything (caterer, flowers, linens, dj, ceremony, reception, cake, etc.) for one price. Valarie helped make sure that everything went smoothly throughout the process, and was always helpful and responsive when I had questions or needed to meet. On the rehearsal and day of the event, the entire Milestone staff was incredible. We were pampered in the bridal room, with the staff checking on us to make sure we didn’t need anything, food, drinks, etc. or if they could help out in any way.

I don’t think I need to rave about how gorgeous the site is, as I feel like the pictures speak for themselves – but just know, it’s even prettier in person than it is pictures. Our guests kept telling me throughout the night how incredible the place was, especially when I told some of them the price. Some one stop shop places are cheesy or things end up looking cheap, but not at the milestone. Everything was affordable, the flowers looked great, everyone loved the food and cakes, the dj was wonderful, and the included decor was very classy.

The aesthetic appeal of the Milestone is what brought me to it, but it was the incredible service that allowed me to have a 100% stress-free day. I would highly recommend the Milestone to any friends.

After many weeks of searching for the perfect venue me and my wife came across the Milestone in Krum Texas of all places. It was love at first sight. We knew we wanted to have it here. What we didn’t count on was not only the facility itself being perfect , Valerie and staff were even more amazing. The process building up to the event was extremely professional and detailed. Everything and anything that was a concern of ours or theirs was brought up and discussed. Everything was perfect and ready upon the wedding day.The venue was fantastic on the day of the wedding. Many of the staff helped while preparing everything else. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner. All of our vendors knew exactly what to do and where to go thanks to Valerie and her staff.The timing was perfect all night. It was a fairy tale wedding a fairy tale venue.The food was phenomenal. I can’t say enough of how special the venue and staff was throughout the entire process! Thank you to the Milestone, Valerie, and Staff! It was a prefect day!!!!

Thank you Valarie and your staff for a truly wonderful experience for everyone attending Jordan and Justin’s wedding. They said it was the best time of their life – and that is exactly what I wanted it to be. Everyone had a great time. The food was great – I have had many compliments from the guests. The cakes were beautiful and tasted great.

The planning process was as easy as it could possibly be. All of the vendors were top notch and easy to work with. It took so much stress off of me to have that all coordinated by Valarie. The day of the wedding we were all treated so special. The staff was there to attend to every need we had. They stayed on top of everything, checking to make sure vendors arrived and everything was on schedule. All I had to do was enjoy the day and spend time with my daughter. There were times when I would be looking for something or thinking I had a question. Before I knew it Valarie would be at my side asking what I needed and then she would be off to take care of it. It was truly stress free and fun.

The brides room is beautiful. The photographer had spoken to us ahead of time about keeping the clutter up as much as possible so the pictures before the wedding would be good. He remarked at how beautiful the room was and how it was the cleanest he had seen. We had plenty of room, so we weren’t crowded and on top of everyone’s stuff. The Milestone has done everything possible to make it all as easy and stressfree as possible.

We spent the majority of the day at the Milestone, just enjoying this once in a lifetime event. We had plenty of time for everything and never felt rushed. I know this is unique to the Milestone as I have talked with friends who have chosen other venues and have felt they were rushed due to scheduling of multiple events. This was not at all the case at the Milestone.

Valarie and her staff kept everything so organized and did so much behind the scenes, that when it was time to leave the loading and everything was a cinch. It was all just wonderful. Thanks.

Now that you’re engaged, I am sure people have told you that your wedding day is the most important day of your life. As you go forward and plan your wedding, you will find you will make good decisions and bad decisions. If you choose the Milestone and the coordination services of Valerie Maier, I can assure you that you have made a great decision! Valerie and the Milestone provided us with the professional staff and organization a wedding requires and made our fairytale wedding look effortless. If you are the type of person that has had their wedding mapped out since infancy or if you are not sure what you envision for your wedding yet, Valerie and the Milestone have this amazing way of catering to all types of brides. Valerie Maier has 11 plus years in the wedding business and it shows! Once you have chosen the Milestone and paid your deposit, (Great job!) Valerie immediately gives you some paperwork to help get you organized. She also hosts several meeting sessions with you before your wedding day to make sure everything is moving along. I understand the thought of doing paperwork is probably the last thing on your mind, since you’re so excited about picking a gown and bridesmaids, however, the paperwork will keep you organized. I highly recommend you fill it out and consult with Valerie as questions come up. Our event was executed as planned, down to the minute, with the exception of some fluffy white snow no one had anticipated! The Milestone takes care of its bride and groom as well as all their families. My family is still talking about how nice, polite, and helpful Valerie and her staff were. I cannot begin to tell you how important it is to have a bridal suite and a groom’s lounge. I have been to other weddings since ours and have been packed into tiny rooms where there is no room to put your stuff. You will not have that issue if you choose the Milestone. The VIP service at the Milestone is like no other. Everything we required, down to a fruit and cheese platter while we were organizing, was provided with a smile For us, the attention to the type of wedding we were envisioning really helped pull things together; Valerie asked me questions to make sure she understood what my fiancée and I were wanting out of our Milestone wedding. We had a small, formal evening wedding indoors in February. Our colors were black, white, and shades of silver. We made our own flower arrangements two days prior and decorated with candles galore! Our theme was based on one thing: Romance! If we had not had a coordinator like Valerie or a venue like the Milestone, we would not have known the pleasure of having what we feel now was the perfect wedding. At the Milestone, everyone will work together to help you make this day unforgettable!

My husband and I had our wedding @ The Milestone on 9-22-12 and I can say it was amazing thanks to Lauren and the rest of the staff. They all go above and beyond to make sure that your day is so special and as easy going as possible. Not once through out the day did I ask for something that they could not accomadate. Our wedding was not until 7pm but myself and my bridesmaid arrived @ noon to enjoy the bridal suite and get ready in a slow-pace and relaxed environment. Lauren would often check on us and make sure everyone was going good! They were great @ working with the other vendors and with the set-up of the decorations. During the reception I really appreciated Lauren for getting my Husband and I food and following us around with the photograher to make sure we got to eat something! I did not experience this since we had left @ this point but my parents said that the clean-up process went extremely quick thanks to the help of the staff for helping gather centerpieces and pack up any decorations. One of the best parts of the venue is that the cake and DJ vendors are included and they are all great to work with. I feel like the day went so smoothly and don’t know what I would of done without a hands on staff.

The Milestone was the PERFECT place to get married! I planned my entire wedding from out of the country – I cannot imagine a venue working with an out of country bride better than The Milestone! They took care of everything for us – I didn’t have to think through all the details, because our wedding coordinator would contact me as she planned all the details and would just ask me what I wanted for each thing. She was SO personal and sweet and handled everything with grace and ease! I absolutely loved EVERYTHING about this place from the first time we looked at it, to picking up items left behind 2 weeks after the wedding!
The food – I have heard rave reviews from friends that this food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!
The details – PERFECT
The coordinator – was amazing!!! She was so calm always and made everything run EXACTLY like we wanted! She was so sweet – we cannot say enough about how great she was!
The day of the wedding the staff took EXTREME care of everyone that was there – groomsmen, bridesmaids, bride, groom, family and friends – it was like we were all at home just hanging out – and being taken care of! It was SO MUCH FUN!

My AMAZING Wedding

I am still getting wonderful comments from guests even after over a month later!

Valarie and her staff were amazing! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and I felt like royalty the whole day.

When I arrived the morning of my wedding, I was greeted at the front entrance by Milestone staff (Brandi) who helped me unload my car. I opted to decorate my wedding myself, I even flowers from a flower market, so I was a little nervous that my vision would come together… Brandi was amazing! She listened to my ideas and ran with it. Wow. I did one centerpiece and then she went to town recreating it over and over at each table. She took my ideas and improved upon and made it even more amazing. The Milestone made it possible for me to actually HAVE FUN. It was a blast because I knew everything would get done and be fabulous.

It was then time for me to start getting ready. I had a relaxing break to myself as I enjoyed the huge spa tub in the luxurious bridal suite. It felt great to know that I could step away from everything and things were still getting done. There was plenty of room for all of our stuff, and you know a bride and bridal party can bring a lot of stuff!

Valarie was always there checking in on me and telling me everything that was already taken care of, and then asking me if I needed anything. Did I mention that I felt like royalty that whole day? Valarie kept us all on schedule, and even helped tie me into my dress when my bridesmaids were struggling a bit. I know she was busy doing so many other things, but whenever I would say, “I need Valarie!” it was like she popped out from nowhere to jump in.

My husband said it was so surprising at how they were treated like VIPs as well. He said that any other wedding he had been in, that the guys are more corralled around than pampered. He and his guys were so pleased that they too were catered to and taken care of. The guys’ room had video games and a pool table– they loved it.

The ceremony was awesome. I guess my minister forgot to tell my guest to “please be seated” so I found out later Valarie was jumping up and down in the very back until she got his attention. Priceless! Thanks Valarie!

The reception was better than I had imagined. Valarie and her staff were constantly checking in with my other vendors and myself to keep everything running smooth and perfect. The food was phenomenal! Everyone raved about! It was fabulous! As the night went on, the sun set and the Milestone never looked so beautiful. Our photographer (Celina Gomez) got some amazing shots out back on the lawn, in the gazebo, and by the pond. It is so gorgeous out there. The catering and bar staff were perfect. The best service is when you don’t even notice your plates are cleared and your drink is now full. I know there is so much more that Valarie and the Milestone staff that I will never even know about.

~Everyone stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Denton and we utilized their free shuttle service for our guests.

I know there is so much more that I may have forgotten about along the way, but I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that if you select the Milestone as your wedding venue you will never, ever doubt your decision and the memories you will have of your wedding will far surpass the dreams you’ve had your whole life of your special day. Good luck ladies, and trust the Milestone with your own life milestone! You will be more than happy you did.

Valerie, I wanted to let you know just how much I enjoyed the Erwin and Meeks wedding on 12-31-10. As you know I am the grooms mother and I can’t tell you how impressed I was with the facility, food, organization and the people. I think this was probably the most organized wedding I have been a part of or have attended.

Your staff was so personable and helpful and that is huge in my books because customer service is one of the most important things and I would say your staff was top notch. I actually gave a guy your information yesterday because his brother was looking for a place to have a wedding so hopefully he will call. Also I wanted to tell you I had a call from the bank’s CFO who is a friend of mine and he said I wanted you to know that I have heard from multiple people just how amazing the wedding was. So that is when you know it was a success when you have people talking about it to people that were not even there. I could not have asked for a more wonderful venue than The Milestone! The entire staff, from the wedding coordinator Valarie, to the banquet coordinator Kim, to the head chef, provided unsurpassable service. They were attentive and involved from the day we first came to view the venue. I originally chose The Milestone because its look and feel seemed to encompass everything I envisioned for my wedding day. The work of Valarie and her staff made it so much more, contributing to what really was a perfect day (my guests and my family have not stopped talking about the wedding!). My florist, Lisa Ham and Coco Fleur Events, and photographer, Jamie Huffman Photography, were chosen through The Milestone’s bridal fair and preferred vendor selection. The fantastic quality of their work, and their willingness to go above and beyond speaks not only to their high standards, but to The Milestone’s reputation of attracting wonderful vendors. I highly recommend, at a minimum, taking a visit to The Milestone and meeting with Valarie and the event staff when searching for a venue for any reason (wedding or otherwise). We recently used the services of The Milestone for the wedding of one of our daughters. We initially chose The Milestone because of its location. The wedding my husband & I hosted had an invitation list that included a large number of people from out of town/state. The location of Milestone provides access that is so easy to navigate. However, as the date of the wedding approached, we were so appreciative of the support of all the staff in planning an event that was really beautiful and a good reflection of our Liz and Adam. We cannot find words that genuinely express the level of service we were offered in planning, but the day of the wedding, we were all treated like kings and queens. Valarie made sure we ‘stayed on track’, the vendors we worked with outside The Milestone (The Flower Shop) were prompt and prepared with all the flowers. The food was wonderful in flavor and in presentation. Candy Haven delivered a beautiful cake…and the list goes on and on with how well we were treated. An example, I asked for an additional glass of water as the reception was winding down, and my table had been cleared of plates and glasses, and my table server stopped what he was doing and brought me a glass of water…it was a small thing, but it spoke volumes to me. I would highly recommend the services of The Milestone to anyone who was planning a wedding, or any event. Thanks to them all…it was an experience we will remember forever, and Milestone staff made the memory…

When my fiancé and I set out to find our wedding venue we were looking for Texas. And the Milestone is Texas at its best. On our first visit we were struck by the beauty of The Milestone’s surroundings, the dips and rolls of the country hills cradling the nearby pond are made all the more stunning when cast against the endless Texas sky. We opted to have some of our photos taken at sunset and the images are simply breathtaking. The rustic beauty of the landscape is matched only by the elegance of The Milestone’s main structure, both inside and out. Each room is open yet cozy and highlights the intimacy of the moment without being overly grandiose. On a day when our heads were spinning it was reassuring to be in the capable hands of The Milestone staff. From the wedding coordinator to the servers and everyone in-between, each member of The Milestone’s staff was a true professional who went above and beyond at every opportunity. The food was amazing, the setting was extraordinary and it was all served up with charm and finesse. Each detail from beginning to end was professionally addressed and flawlessly executed. My wedding was a whirlwind! If it were not for the WONDERFUL staff at the Milestone, I would have been a wreck, but they took care of EVERYTHING!

This facility was literally the venue I was hoping I would find– from the look of it, to the grounds, to the details. Every-time we met with Valerie, she was calm and reassuring- especially the day of! The all inclusive wedding is the way to go, no need to worry about every little thing or anything at all. There are so many options available here and they walk you through them all. You can be as minimal or extravagant as you wish.

The day of was amazing, I was treated like a princess and had absolutely no stress put on me! Megan Valarie and Kim were life savers!!

The only hinges were I wasn’t able to take my bridal portraits there, because of an interference with a rehearsal but I knew about it before hand, and the cake cutting seemed a little robotic and scripted but I assume it has to be to do it correctly. Other than that, everything was PERFECT! If I could go back and do it over, The Milestone would be my first choice! I would not change one thing about my day.

I was just a guest at a wedding this past weekend and I was amazed!

I have been to many weddings in my years but NEVER have I seen a more flawless delivery of an entire event. From the moment I topped the hill and saw the place I was in awe. I assumed it would be beautiful, and it was, beyond words. Every aspect from floor to ceiling is stunning and personal. There is not a commercial feel to anything at this facility. You feel as if you are a guest in a magnificent home. The ceremony was short and sweet but delivered perfectly in a room illuminated by many beautiful crystal sconces. The view from the room is natures beauty at its best. The reception space was huge and grand with massive crystal chandeliers and wood floors throughout. Even the parking lot lights are decorative and beautiful. I’m telling you no detail was left undone.

I was informed by someone else at my table that the facility did everything for the bride and groom. Even the flowers arrangements, which are tasteful and absolutely stunning, were included and even placed on the tables by the staff. I hear the bride never lifted a finger and neither did her bridesmaids. That is unheard of service in this day and age! I give them 10 gold stars for perfection. The food was delicious and so beautifully displayed. The staff was beyond attentive, my glass was filled all evening and our table was cleared as each person finished their meal. The DJ was fun, funny, and tasteful while still getting people on the dance floor and making it a great time for all.

Beautiful, Stunning, Amazing, those just don’t cut it. There are truly not words to describe this place or its staff. Who ever is in charge here has a fabulous operation going that is more about people and service than money or speeding as many brides through as possible. It is obvious that each bride is treated like royalty and not rushed through! That is quality all the way.

My daughter is only 15 but I know exactly where she will be getting married when the time comes.

The minute that I drove up to the Milestone I knew that was the place I had to get married! The facility is gorgeous both inside and out! I met with Valarie and she was so genuinely excited and passionate about my wedding. I live in Oklahoma and I knew planning was going to be a challenge from the start. However the staff made it all so easy! They even saved me several trips back and forth across state lines!
The wedding weekend was even more perfect, from the rehearsal to the ceremony! Valarie ensured we all knew where to go and when, and even kept my groomsmen in line and focused. The day of the staff kept us all fed and happy, took care of all our last minute needs, and kept us laughing and smiling all the while. I didn’t ever have to worry if anyone was late, valarie kept everyone on schedule and made sure all my requests were fulfilled not only within the Milestone staff but also with the outside vendors.
Valarie is so sweet and sincere; she was a pleasure to work with, and makes me wish I had a dozen excuses to have many more events at their facility! I would highly reccomment the Milestone to any and everyone. I’m so proud to say my wedding was here and the compliments of how beautiful the wedding was, how great the food was, and how much fun everyone had have not ceased! I have the highest possible praise for The Milestone, its staff and vendors. I have had the pleasure of associating with them for over a year and watched the stunning plans come to fruition as The Milestone was built, decorated, staffed.

If you are looking for integrity and professionalism, look no further. Everything is explained and spelled out, no hidden costs or surprises. Valarie, the excellent wedding coordinator, finds every way to work with the family to make budget and still have a gorgeous wedding. They are on top of everything, timing, scheduling and making sure the time and events flow seamlessly and nothing is left out or forgotten.

Valarie is not only brilliant at what she does, she is just plain brilliant period. She can think fast, make adjustments and is so adept at soothing nerves. Although the string quartet was 15 minutes from initiating play, Valarie had the guests waiting in the foyer escorted into the chapel as the large numbers made it too crowded and hot in the foyer. Valarie troubleshooted that and had the guests come into the chapel and got the quartet to begin playing earlier. She has a way of making problems into no problems. The kitchen even sends over a platter of fruit and cheese to the attendants while they are in the bridal suite most of the day to keep up strength and fortitude. They think of everything and provide whatever you need or want cheerfully. Valarie and her staff truly care about every bride, groom and their families and go the extra mile to exceed your expectations. How many people can you say that about?

All the vendors are organized and well-polished. Lynne Eason is a make-up artist who specializes in bridal makeup and she can be hired to make-up the wedding party and moms. She tries to make you look like you, but better, for the photos and can sweatproof the make-up. It got hot with dancing and all the people and although I sweated, my makeup stayed perfect with mere blotting. Amazing!!

The DJ we had last weekend at my son’s wedding knew how to get everyone involved and up on their feet, dancing or joining in the games.

The kitchen/catering staff is the best I have ever known, in part thanks to Kim, the very attentive and passionate about what she does catering manager. At one point, my husband and I had to leave the banquet hall to escort my 93-year-old father to the foyer to have some breathing room, and to catch the shuttle back to the hotel. While we were away, our food plates were cleared away, although we had not quite finished. No problem. When we returned, Kim made sure we were provided new plates loaded with all the food, hot and as delicious as ever. Fabulous service. The food was delicious and everyone raved about it. I can’t say enough about Kim and the kitchen/catering staff.

The florist, Lisa Hamm, is another recommended vendor. She is very creative and is not just another florist. She does very special and unusual presentations, and so much of what she allows you to use is hers, lent for the ceremony and therefore the cost for it does not come out of your pocket.

The facility itself is comfortable, elegant and yet has a feeling of a home rather than a commercial wedding venue. There are details in the appointments that are breathtaking…everything from the highly-polished wooden staircase to the breathtaking chandeliers, and sconces on the walls and the bridal suite is bright, spacious and beautifully decorated in every detail…a row of lit makeup mirrors, a large bed and chairs, a private bath, racks to hang the gowns, a vanity, a refrigerator. The light pouring in the many windows makes it light, airy and bright. The chapel has a floor-to-ceiling window overlooking rolling lawn, greenery and a lake/river/creek (not sure). We had a lucite chuppah so as not to block the window and allow the light to pour forth. The effect was ethereal with candles all across the upper beams. The bride and groom are elevated for all to admire and you really get the feeling you are standing before heaven and being blessed. of course, I am prejudiced, but my son looked more handsome than ever and the bride the most exquisite she has ever looked. In part, this was because of the pure, radiant joy emanating from them as they basked in their love and fed off the experience of being in the magnificent southern mansion, known as The Milestone.

If you want a remarkable, as perfect as you can get wedding, that everyone will remember fondly, and a setting for spectacular photos of your special day, have your wedding at The Milestone. My son was married last Saturday, but I am still receiving phone calls three days later from folks raving about it. I think this will continue for awhile, because it truly was an outstanding event.

We recently attended my niece’s wedding at The Milestone and cannot say enough good things about your facility and services! The facilities are gorgeous and the surroundings secluded and serene. I was impressed by the beauty of each room and of the outside surroundings. But the best feature of all was the service from each staff person — from Valerie, the wedding coordinator, to each of the waitstaff! I never saw a frown on anyone’s face — only smiles and joy from people who obviously love what they do. What an AMAZING venu, when we step on the premises, we never knew what to expect as we travel down the high way from Dallas. The Milestone is truly a dream come true for any bride and groom. Valerie and her staff were completely on top of their planning and was very helpful through out the whole day. Britany and Skylarr were a beautiful couple to photograph. We couldnt stop photographing them in this beautiful white decor, every way you turn their were photo moments. From the Brides room to the Groom room to the reception and ceremony, SIMPLY ELEGANT!! 3 months later and my guest and husband (imagine that) are still talking about how amazing the wedding I planned was.

My fiance at the time was in Afghanistan and Valerie and Erica made my wedding planning so much easier!!! From the beginning to the end it was absolutely amazing!!!

Our daughter Renee was married Sept 24 2011 at The milestone. The staff especially Valerie were such a tremdous help to us. The day of the wedding they were so accomodating and saw to her every need. They made her day so very special. The food was our of this world. The feedback we have gotten from alot of the guest has been that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever been to.
I would and will reccomed The Milestone to any couple I know of that are planning a wedding.

Where do I begin? I just had my wedding here on 10-15-11 and it was a dream come true! The venue is beautiful and the service and amenities are wonderful. Valarie, the wedding coordinator, knows her stuff and is very helpful. The entire staff is very accomodating and they want to do everything they can to make your day perfect. We received so many compliments on the venue and the food. I would highly recommend The Milestone to any bride!

Our experience with The Milestone was absolutely amazing. It is an exceptionally gorgeous place, however, it is Valerie and The Milestone Staff that are truly responsible for making my daughter’s wedding day the perfect day she always dreamed of. As mother of the bride, I was able to enjoy the wedding day because I was confident Valerie and the staff would handle the details. They handled every detail with utmost professionalism and perfection. I did not feel stressed in the least. I had an amazing experience with The Milestone! Post wedding, we are still getting compliments on our gorgeous venue at The Milestone. Valarie and her staff are amazing! As someone who can be pretty Type A, I was extremely pleased with how professional she was and how flexible she was. She even let us extend our reception by 30 minutes because of how much fun I and my husband were having, as well as our guests. Additionally, we got so many compliments on the food service as well. Everyone loved the food (Cake and hors d’oeuvres), loved the DJ that The Milestone contracts through (Complete), loved the venue; people gushed about how it was the most beautiful venue they had seen and they didn’t even know it had existed! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and how it exceeded my high expectations.

I had my wedding at the Milestone about a year ago, and it was the most amazing day of my life!!
My coordinator Valerie was just so amazing, and made sure everything was perfect and made sure i was satisfied and relaxed the whole time, shes just the sweetest person ever!
And the place, just completely breathtaking. I still have complements on how beautiful my wedding was. I could not have picked any place better than here, and what girl doesn’t want a jacuzzi tub in their room to relax in right before getting ready!! I would definitely recommend the Milestone too anyone. The staff goes above and beyond, and really do make the day all about you and exceed any expectation you have. Definitely a day that i will never forget.

When you arrive at The Milestone the venue sells itself to couples because it looks amazing and holds everyones idea of their fairy tale wedding but Valarie is the person who makes everything come together and makes everyones wedding the absolute best it could possibly be. I was not the bride, however as I bridesmaid I feel the need to share my wonderful experience. My sister in law just got married 11-9-12 & the wedding was amazing! The Milestone is the perfect place for a wedding! My sister in law kept saying “this day is going to perfect” as did I. We never had to worry about anything, every staff member was so polite, organized & helpful to EVERY need. As a bridesmaid who took care of the bride, I think it is important for any bride to know that your bridal party will not have to stress about making your day perfect here at the Milestone. Thank you Milestone, Valerie & staff for the perfect wedding for my sister & brother in law- you made their special day perfect!

The milestone is so beautiful, and was absolutely perfect for our wedding. My wedding day so relaxing, and they were on top of everything. If I needed something, they had already taken care of it. At one point my bussel fell and they quickly grabbed some safety pins and fixed it up. The food was great, we are still getting comments on the shrimp cocktail. Such a fun night that we will always remember!

The Milestone from a Professional View

I am a DJ that has provided my services at several weddings and receptions at the Milestone. I have been to many venues and the Milestone tops the list by far.

I am always excited about being there and below are my candid thoughts:

LANDSCAPING–Absolutely beautiful. When you pull into the property you follow a road then the Milestone comes into view. The mansion is an awesome first impression..and the gazebo behind the mansion..it is gorgeous..especially during sunset!

FOOD–Absolutely amazing! The head Chef at the Milestone, Adam, is so humble and gets somewhat embarrassed when his food is complimented on but I have never tasted food so perfect. Adam takes extra care in perfecting all the food he and his staff serves. The waitstaff are very professional and are very attentive to the bride and groom throughout the whole evening.

DRESSING ROOMS– One day I got to the Milestone early and was able to look in the dressing rooms of the bride and the groom. The bride’s room is absolutely gorgeous…and HUGE! Plenty of room to get perfected for that walk down the isle. Her room even has a nice bed in it for the younger ones who may need a nap. The groom’s room is upstairs but is fully loaded with games and a TV!!! Both the bride and groom and their parties are served cheese trays to minimize the hunger.

WEDDING COORDINATOR–In my entire life I have never seen a wedding coordinator like Valerie. She gets to the Milestone very early to prepare for the bride’s arrival. She also spends the entire time before the wedding, with clipboard in hand, making sure that every aspect of the ceremony and reception are covered. Anytime the bride remembers that she forgot something, Valerie pops up immediately and says, “I got it”. Valerie usually has one or two helpers on the wedding day and they are just as professional and courteous as Valerie. One time I even forgot a prize for a game I was going to play..before I could get a plan B together, she had already had someone go to the store and get it for me.

Brides, I will tell you, if you are looking for a great place to have your wedding, the Milestone is it. It is unbelievable how much stress Valerie takes off of the bride so you can enjoy your day. The entire staff is more friendly and professional than any other staff at any other venue I have seen. The owner prides himself in offering a premier venue for the most important day in your life.

I recommend the Milestone to every bride I meet, and I’m not just saying that. They have been open for less than a year and their name is already getting around. And, please, don’t take my word for it. Call the Milestone and request a tour. Allow Valerie to work her magic. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Ed Markwardt DJ

My daughter Kylie chose The Milestone as her perfect wedding spot. Meghan Casey helped us to plan our wonderful event. She answered all of my many questions very quickly. Our day was perfect even if the weather was not. We did not even notice. Jeremy was there to help us with all our decorating and questions as we prepared for our event and Meghan showed up to help the event run smoothly. I would highly recommend The Milestone.
